certified public accountants

In high school, I discovered I had an affinity for numbers and how those concepts related to the broader world of business. This early interest developed into a serious pursuit of accounting at Case Western Reserve University as an undergraduate and then finance as a graduate student. Learning about and understanding the role of accounting in peoples’ lives transitioned into the deep respect I have for my profession, the epitome of which, was becoming a CPA. The approach I take when it comes to clients is one influenced by many years in the corporate environment. Prior to starting my practice in October 1986, I was CFO for a company in Midland, Texas and subsequently for a Dallas, Texas based Dutch-owned. Lessons learned then are continuing to be applied when working with my business clients. I provide strategic opportunities to maximize profits and manage tax issues. The satisfaction of being able to provide information which enables a client to plan prudently, capture economic opportunities, and identify tax consequences motivates my work. Being able to represent a business or individual client’s best interest begins with what I consider to be my core beliefs: I am 1) probative, 2) responsive, and 3) proactive. By following these three precepts I represent a client in a manner that is both personable and professional. This becomes the basis for any inquiries involving one’s business, planning or IRS matters. I listen with the ears of a CPA (Client Psycho Analyst) so that I can provide the level of personalized service each client expects and deserves.
